At the beginning of July Rhonda’s family went to the Atlantis on Paradise Island, Bahamas. Everyone had a wonderful time at the beach, swimming with dolphins, snorkeling, crossing a bridge over hammerhead sharks, and enjoying being together with family. At Jeff & Rhonda’s wedding, when I tried to cut in and dance with my son, I was told I’d have to wait. Surprised at his comment, I did as I was told, but only after questioning his sanity. Several moments later, the first few notes of the next song was played and I instantly knew why I was told to wait. Over 30 years ago, when Jeff was only two-years old and was hurt, I picked him up and danced with him. He remembered that song, “our special song.” Not only did I get my dance, but it was his turn to comfort me, as I couldn’t stop crying. It’s a moment of love I’ll never forget. I cry every time I watch this video. I hope you’ll enjoy it, too.
